6.5 Chevy runs wide open

I have 95 2500 chevy with 6.5 turbo diesel when it starts its running wide open and wont idle down. Put new moud on fuel pump and put a new accelarator pedal with the electronics on it. What else could it be? My 93 does not have all the electronics on it. So this new to me.[/B]

Could be a vacuum leak somewhere. Those have MAF sensors, so it could be that. I would start be looking for a vacuum leak. Is the check engine light on? If it is the truck needs to be scanned for trouble codes
