I have a 2004 chevy silverado 1500 6.7 and milage is 65,000. Last night I was using my programer and it came up with a DTC p0101 And I don't really know much about cars and don't really know what this is, so I took my truck in to the chevy dealer today and they said because I have a K&N filter something about the oil is leaking in to my tranny or something and causing it to get hot. And that I am going to need to put the orginal air filter back on. Can any one help me with this? I don't really Understand it

Unless your K&N is over oiled when you service it, that just a bunch of bunk. Been running the aftermarket airbox and K&N filter for 2 years on an 04
.5 LLY 3500 dually. Sounds like a dealer "I don't know what's really happening." Oil from your air filter leaking into the tranny? Wow! I'd also get a second opinion.
Could be in the MAF sensor. I'd go to the Diesel Place website and they're a bunch of hip guys.
