Two Questions:
(1) Have a whine upon a tight left hand turn under power. Any ideas? Could there be some interference between the ABS speed sensor wheel and something else?

(2) Trip computer module above mirror indicates wildly different temperatures. Seems to be accurate under 32degrees but above that in can be anything. Replaced sensor by radiator to no avail. Since a trip to the dealer will likely result in a $300+ bill. Would like to correct in least expensive way. Could replacing the digital read-out assembly cure this with a used one from yard? Could it also be within the body control module. Not sure of the electical relationship since I don't have schematic.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Jon, I don't think your whine is an ABS problem. Sounds like a power steering problem to me. This car has rack and pinion steering, I'm thinking a bad internal seal letting fluid past. An ABS sensor won't and can't make any noise since it has no moving parts.
Really can't help much on your temp/mirror deal. You've replaced the sensor, next I'd go with a new mirror assy. It may be hard to find in a salvage yard, but for the cost difference, you can have them put it out on the parts locator nationwide. If they can find one, it'll cost less even with shipping.
