My chev 1500 is very hard to start when it has sit for more than a day. As of right now it has sit for two days and I can't get it to start. I checked the codes and came up with P0304. I did a web search which came up with a range of potential solutions including plugs and wires, values, piston ring, and injectors. Is there any way to narrow this down?

P0304 Misfire @ cylinder 4- check the spark plug, fuel injector and compression on that cylinder.

Misfires can also be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
