1997 Chevy Truck misfire

While driving, on occasion, dont happen all the time, truck feels like it is misfiring, little jump, jerk and back to normal operation. Thishas been a well cared for engine, what am I looking for? Bad plug wire? Has me confused

If your service engine light isn't on then it may be a plug wire or spark plug. It could have a pice of junk in between the electrodes on one cylinder then it cleans off. If you have replaced them recently then you should be ok, but if not they could be replaced. Also check your plug wires for resistance. Especially with your miles that you said you have.
