I have a 95 Chevy 350, 5.7L that started leaking oil from the oil filter, I have replaced the filter and made sure that the old gasket was removed and oiled the new seal, ran the truck up to operating temp and double checked the filter to make sure it was still tight, however it still leaks. What could be the cause of this?

IF it is Definitly coming from the filter and not above it, trya different brand. Check closely for any possible cracks. Be sure to not over tighten.

I am pretty sure that it is coming from the filter, where could it be coming from above it? As for the brand I have always used Fram without any issues, and have tried 2 new filters to rule out any defects. I hand tighten then 3/4 turn with wrench.
