1991 Chevy Truck fuel system

My question is this my s-10 idle's so high that it even makes it difficult to get it into park the truck has no engine light so i'm unsure how to get a problem code myself without taking it somewhere how can I get the engine code if there is one and what might be the problem with the idle?

91 is throttle body injection. CArefully spray around the TBI unit with carb cleaner for vacuum leaks, spray all lines if the idle changes you have found a leak. Coulsd also be the Idle Speed Control Motor, this is a big round motor on the P/S of the TBI unit with a square 4 wire connector, might be stuck
