1988 Chevy Truck running rough

I have a 88 k3500 with a 454 engine. It runs great as long as I don't get stuck in traffic and have to idle for more than a couple minutes. Once it reaches operating temperature if I get stuck at a long light even it starts bucking and choking like it is running on 1 cylinder. Please any advice appreciated.

Welcome to the forum. How long since a tune-up. Are there any trouble codes? Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Are you TBI fuel injection? With any idle issue, I take the throttle-body off and clean it.
