The engine is a 350 v8 out of a 79 chevy truck.
Swapped in to a 1985 s10.

When you apply pressure to the accelerator there is a hesitation, then jerks and then accelerates. I have replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button and fuel filter and installed a curve kit.

Okay,

when I have the truck idle and I press on the peddle you can hear and feel the hesitation its at the first moment I step on a little. If I flore it it does this as well. But it I feather it a couple times then acclerate it does not slug down.

Timming is correct. Choke plate is opening. When I manualy acclerate the pick up with my hand you dont get the hesitation but on the peddle it does.
