I have a 76 chevy and I have changed the alternator and the ignition switch and I still have no power to the truck. The battery is fine and all the fuses and they are good too. I have been really frustrated with it cause it is on going. PLEASE HELP! I just came back from deployment and it is my mode of transportation to work and I start this week. PLEASE HELP!

There should be fusible links at the starter, use a test light to see if they are all good, sounds like you may have a bad one. The ylooklie wire, but are designed to burn through if the amount of amperage is exceeded, much like a fuse

Do I keep the battery hooked up or do I un hook it. Cause while the battery is hooked up I get a good light for everything working correctly. The starter and the alternator are brand new. And the wiring is a mess under the dash

What exactly do you mean you "dont have power to the truck"? Fuse block has power? Any power at the ignition switch?

No power like you turn the key to both positions and nothing happens at all.
