2007 Chevy Trailblazer yellow check engine-emissions

Last friday the yellow check engine light came on, I know this is the emissions system. I replaced the gas cap and drove the vehicle for about 10 minutes and the light went off and hasnt come back on. Tonight I started the vehicle and the light was back on. Drove for about 10-15 minutes and it didnt go off. Any ideas?

Chances are this is related to the EVAP system. What I need you to do is have the computer scanned to determine what code is showing up. If you take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store, they will scan it for free.

Do that and let me know what code they find. Usually when it is EVAP related, they always say replace the fuel cap, but don't until I know what the code is.
