Found 40% leakage on #6 cylinder, was told the valves leaking at valve seats, recommend replacing head. Doesn't this sound a bit excessive for a 2006 model with less than a 100,000 miles? I am in contact with GM as a defective motor and/or part. This car is not raced, driven carefully by one person. What do you think? Have you heard of many Trailblazers with the same or similar problem?

Actually it dosent, very common on 02-06 trailblazers, the intake and exhaust valves build up carbon on the valve guides causing the valve to stick and a missfire. GM came out with a redesigned head for these vehicles. It dosent matter if the vehicle was maintaned or not this still would have happened, it a design flaw that there correcting.
