2004 Chevy Trailblazer general question

My car is running fine with no problems. I am getting ready to take a 1500 mile trip and I am wondering if there is any reason to have the car checked out by a mechanic? I have been very faithful with servicing the car. I am just wondering if I really need to do anything other than normal servicing. I don't want to have a breakdown while I am on my trip.

Usually when my customer's come in and mention they are going on a trip and are regular customers, I 'll give it a quick look over for free.

IT won't hurt to get a quick look at the fluids, tire pressures and conditions and shake down the front end.
