2003 Chevy Trailblazer Getting car smog

having problem getting car smog service engine light stays on had oil change replace the two oc sensor and drove the car over 100 miles light still on (service engine soon) took car and got a p0128 diagnostic troble code. Dose car need to be heated up for test?

p0128 is Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature.replace the thermostat and clear the check engine light and drive the vehicle for 100 to 200 miles and have it retested.
