My Trailblazer would not start so I Got A new Battery put in it. Now only when the Defrost is on the car is not moving it will shake and the lights go dim and the RPM goes up and down and then will shut the care off? What is causing this?

If you had a battery issue, they should have checked, the charging system also. If all that checked out, your problem sounds like an idle issue. The vehicle sounds like it is trying to die, at idle.

Just sitting in your driveway, vehicle in park and running, does it act the same way? If it does, you might open the throttle just a little, see if the problem goes away. If the problem goes away, it might be an idle air issue?

Sometimes when a battery is disconnected, the vehicle may not run correctly for a while afterwards. I'm not sure about yours, some vehicles may need an idle relearn or go through a drive-cycle.
