2002 Chevy Trailblazer black smoke coming out of tail pipe

My chevy trail blazer engine starts fine but its seems its flooding itself. It would idle for a little bit then shut of. Lot of black smoke.

Check fuel pressure regulator, and return line, any codes? Should be! Read em and post.
