I have already paid $5 for this question but fell off the net during the process. Oh well...onto the question. My son has a 97 Tahoe with 5.7L and 150K miles. We have replaced the radiator, thermo, radiator cap, and water pump but the engine still runs hot. The upper hose is cool and the lower is hot. My son did run a couple Bardahl stop leaks thru the engine. Could the engine ports be clogged? If so, how can they be freed up? Please help.

Absolutely! Stop leak isnt a good idea, plugs stuff up.If the intake is leaking then have it fixed properly and then have the cooling system backflushed.
