2004 Chevy Tahoe Four Wheel Drive Automatic 108000 miles

today my tahoe started making a loud clicking sound toward the rear of the vehicle. The sound resembled that of a baseball card in bicycle spokes. When I speed up the sound speeds up and when I slow down so does the sound. The vehicle seems to be shifting ok, and no warning lights have come on

Hi:
Make sure nothing has been picked up off the road and hitting under the car. Also, do you have 4 wheel disc brakes? If so, check to make sure that the backing plate hasn't been pushed into the rotor.

If nothing is found. You will need to have the vehicle raised by a mechanic so he can run the engine / drive line to locate where the sound is coming from.

Let me know if this helps.

Joe
