Squealing noise that sounds like my serpentine belt going out?

I have recently developed a squealing noise that sounds like my belt going out, but it is not constant. I happens when I get over 2000 RPM's and only when the AC is turned on. It also seems to happen when it gets hotter outside. I was able to drive to work this morning with the AC on LOW and it didn't squeal, but yesterday I couldn't turn the AC on without it squealing. Would this be the Belt or is it more to do with the AC?

Hello,

It does sounds like an issue with the ac belt. This vehicle does have a separate belt for the A/C, so it makes sense for it to squeal when the A/C is on.
A belt will make squealing noise when it gets glazed over and it slips under load.
Many times the belt will make noise with the A/C compressor being turned on as it puts more load.
Inspect the belt and replace if necessary.

Here is a helpful article on noisy belt:

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
