Now today the Service Engine Soon light is on

For the last month my truck has been turning off by itself. It only happens when I just turn the truck on after it has sat for a long while. I can tell that once started it hesitates and then once I start moving slowly it will turn off. Once I restart it it is fine. Now today the Service Engine Soon light is on. Not sure what it is.

Hello,

This drivability issue can be due to several factors. Dirty throttle body, faulty throttle position sensor, inadequate fuel pressure etc.
Cleaning out throttle body can improve drivability issues.

Since the check engine light is illuminated the first step would be to have the vehicle scanned and retrieve the trouble codes. This can help with the diagnostics.
