1996 Chevy Tahoe engine misfire

My Tahoe has started running rough. When code is read it says misfire on #2 cyl. The thing is, when its cold its ok but right at 180 deg it sets the engine light on
. Ive changed plugs & wires but its still on #2. Mechanic says its probably injectors, so I ran cleaner but no help.
Any suggestions from somebody that has had similar problems. I also changed cap & rotor. No change.

Have you checked if the cylender is getting spark? Also, using a noid light, are you getting a pulse from the fuel injector?

It's a problem that occurrs intermittently and at varying speeds. The only thing that SEEMS to be the same each time is the temp. I cannot check for spark or fuel pulse as I am driving about 40mph when it happens. Any other suggestions?
