99 Suburban check enginge light 100,000 miles

I have a 99 Suburban 1500 that just turned 100,000 miles. My check engine light came on. Is that a standard thing triggered by mileage, or something I should check into? Thanks.

The light is on because you have and issue with your cars engine management system. You need to have the trouble codes pulled with a scaaner. This will tell you what is causing the light to come on.
