My 98 Suburban as had an increased problem with the electrical system. Over the last week my wife would be driving it when it would all of the sudden just die. No power anywhere. No radio, no power seats, not even the door locks would work. At first it would only last about a minute, then it would start right up. The radio would then be completely reset and the anti-theft loc comes on. This only happens when the battery is disconnected.
After quitting several more times since, it seems to have finally died for good in the garage last night. Every time it dies there is a clicking sound coming from under the dash. I've found the module that is making the noise. I don't know what it is, but it's warm.
I've tried jumping it, but it doesn't do anything. No indication that power is on.
If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate the help.
