My message center is displaying Service 4WD. Can you tell me what is involved with this? And if it will harm the vehicle if I continue to drive? Approximate cost and if this adealer service issue or not. Thank you.

You should have the computer scanned for trouble codes. The message center is telling you there is a problem with the 4WD system. Your Suburban is probably only using 2WD currently and may be having difficulty with the switch($70) or the actuator($150) that engages the 4WD.
