Engine Performance problem
1996 Chevy Suburban V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

My suburban miss fires while in idle. I've changed plug wires, air flow censor, spark plugs, rotor cap, flushed injector and it still runs ruff at times. The code given is P0300. The engine is a 454.

Try tightening the inlet manifold down. These would loosen sometimes causing a vacuum leak, especially if they have the small 8mm bolt heads. Also change the fuel filter. Other than that a pro will have to look at it as you may have a bad injector causing the problem or a more serious engine problem.
