1990 Chevy Suburban interchangeable?

Are a '92 G20 3/4 ton rear end & a '90 1500 1/2 ton suburban rear end interchangeable I dont know the ratio

You have a 3/4 ton truck you do not want to use a 1/2 ton axle the '90 1500 1/2 ton suburban rear end isn't strong enough you need a 3/4 ton axle and th suburban has a 1/2 ton axle

The G20 van is 3/4 ton the suburban is 1/2 ton could I take the rear end off the van and put it under the suburban?

You can but you will be changeing the rear tires to a 6 bolt pattern instead of 5 bolt pattern also the hight and size of tire you will be changeing from 15 inch wheel to a 16 or 16.5 wheel
