Silverado 2003 5.3 liter

2003 silverado 5.3 liter extended cab 7z1 with 80,000 mil. I have a p0449 code. I know what it mean already I have done my research but how should I approach this problem and where on the truck is this located. Maybe tell my where to find a schamatic for this problem. Im not asking much am I. Lol

The evap solenoid is located on the right front of the fuel tank, yeah its a bear, and the tests you really need a scanner to open and close the valve, but you can check power and ground to the solenoid just to make sure its being fed and its not a blown fuse

One more thing. Where do I find the fuse for the solenoid?

Tell you the truth I cant find it anywhere, ive been over the whole trucks harness and I dont see one, well if all else fails check power and ground, if you have both brfore the sol your ok
