What is going bad with the u-joints each time? You drive where theres lots of water? Heavy towing?

The joints themselves are failing I do no towing and I do not travel in alot of mud or bad terain the joints will start making noise and then I can feel vibration when they are going bad and I'll have them replaced the truck is a Z71 but I've only have had it in the mud a couple of times

Try using a cheap autopart replacement from a autovalue or a napa. Make sure you get one with fittigns for grease on it and you grease it every other month.

If that dont last check the working angles for the driveshaft. They could be too great.

Check the working angles for the driveshaft and see whats going on. If they are off too much they can be wrecked.

Grease it regularly. Not much more you can do. Put your own grease in the cap. Lather it up good.
