1999 Chevy Silverado Too loose?

1999 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 99' Z71 and a 04' F-150, both 4x4 and the Chevy feels like an old Cadillac when I turn the wheel, I dont know how to to explain it but it feel like its "floating" too much. The suspension is much more loose than the 98' Z71 I owned years ago and the F-150 that I currently own. Is there some way to tighten the ride? Or is there a problem?

One of the big difference that was improved from the 98 to the 99 model is that in the newer design now has a rack and pinion steering, vs the 98 still having the conventional style. Hope this helps.
