1999 Chevy Silverado break pedal lock up

When moving slow & I put breaks on the pedal wont go down unless I push hard with booth feet. Ive almost hit several cars in parking lots. A few people said just disconnect my anti lock breaks. What to do?

Does it feel like the abs is turning on when you apply the brakes? Can you give me a better description?

Sounds like there is an air gap problem with your ABS sensors. Call your local dealership, I think there was a recall for this concern.
