Engine Performance problem
1998 Chevy Silverado V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 143k miles

I just recently changed the fuel filter. It was really stopped up. The pressure went from unmeasurable to 45 psi. It has CSFI. Now every time I start it, it stumbles a little and slowly builds up to the proper idle. Any idea what is going on? Thanks

Your fuel pressure should be 60-66psi being that low 45psi might be causing the problem.

Thats good. I thought I read on hear it should be 04 to 50. I seem to be getting good pressure from the pump. How do I test the fuel pressure regulator on a CSFI system?
