1998 Chevy Silverado V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have 1998 chevy silerado I just just changed the oil pump & fulshed it & 1 week later I put a new ehaust now my car wont start then I get it started the oil presure was very high what do you think could be the promalbe thanks dennis

How high is high, check your oil pressure sending unit and make sure your exhaust is not touching the wires and burning them. If there is a problem with the engine put a mechanical gauge on it to verify oil pressure

When it first starts it goes to top of the gauge after running for about 10 min it comes back down

Put a mechanical guage on it to be sure. But it sounds like its ok
