I just installed a remote starter in my vehicle and am trying to get the remote starter module to work with my lock unlock transmitter device. I understand my truck has a TYPE "A" locking system, whatever that means. I have 3 wires from the module that I need to connect to my truck door locking system. Module wires are as follows:
1. red wire w/inline 20 amp fuse - power
2. blue wire (-): to connect to "unlock" truck wire.
3. green wire (-): to connect to "lock" truck wire.

My module came with door lock relay wiring diagrams (see attached), can you tell me which one i should use for my truck:
1. 5 wire/reverse Polarity type door locks.
2. negative type door locks 250ma
3. negative type door locks (more than 250ma)
4. Positive type door locks
5. vacuum type door locks.

I bought 2 relays and hooked up all the wires per the reverse polarity wiring diagram and my locks don't work from the transmitter. They still work at the arm rest. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.....

The locks on that vehicle should be reverse polarity. You should check all your connections again and maybe find a different schematic. Here is the door lock wiring I found below. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers
