I have a pretty good challenge for you, I have a 4L60E I have installed a year ago. I had received it from what I thought was a competent trans- builder, they sent me a transmission I had to switch to the electronic selector and electronic speedometer, in other words the whole tail shaft. I kept it because it was my only transportation, and I needed it up and running. Upon install I had the SES P1860 Lock converter PWM. I Went and checked the main feed Pink wire for the 12V at the harness plug, which I assume the Ignition switch provides this? I Ohmed out the wires associated with the TCC converter pwm solonoid, checked OK no short or none broken. They sent me complete Valve body with solonoids and valve body harness, I installed it and still I have same codes. I hooked up Snap on ALDL and ran vehicle down the road, reset the SES P1860 and the torque converter engaged and disengaged normally. Could it be they sent me the wrong converter, not compatible with the PWM setup?I hate the thought of removing the trans to replace the converter, is there a kit like the transgo HD2-2 kit that might get rid of the PWM and maybe fix the possible incompatibility? Or something I could jumper so the lock up converter might work? The truck chugs the gas with out the lock converter working. Any help would be most appreciated, TimSS
