Engine Performance problem
1995 Chevy Silverado 190000 miles

I just installed a pair of flowtech headers that are direct fit to the stock exhaust. The truck has now lost power and feels like it has a misfire. About 6000 miles ago I replaced the air filter, plugs, wires, cap/rotor and fuel filter. I also added a throtle body spacer, hypertech power charger thats supposed to unshroud the throttle bores and elliminated the air box that attatches to the inner fender. The check engine light has not come on but the truck is deffinatley not running well.

When you changed all that stuff you changed the air flow characteristics of the engine. Your computer is set to a certain characteristic from the factory. It has the ability to compensate for small flow changes but installing headers and a TB spacer will probably put the computer out of wack. You must get your computer reprogramed to reflect the changes you made.
