I drive the truck listed above manual transmission, 4 cylinder, 2-wheel drive with approximately 103,000 miles on it.
My check engine light has come on and remained so for about a month now. The codes I'm getting are PO113 and PO178 having to do with the intake air temperature circuit and fuel composition sensor, respectively. I haven't noticed any particular issues with how the truck runs, but would like to get this cleared up. I need to know where the sensors are and whether or not I should just replace them.
Thank you.

Good afternoon.

The 113 is for the intake air temperature sensor.

I attached a picture and a wiring diagram for you to view. Make sure you verify voltage to the sensor. Otherwise, it will set the code.

The 178 is not a reliant code for the S10 with the year list. The composition sensor you are referring to is part of the ECM itself.
