I went to get a smog test to get my truck re-registered, and it got rejected because my gas pressure sensor was messed up. So I need to buy a new one ofcourse. How much will that cost average is my first question. And my second question, I need details how to change that myself! I refuse to pay 500$ just for them to go in for a half hour or so. I still have to put it through its drive cycle when im done I know though.

Your fuel pressure senosr is int eh gas tank, it'costs about $90 and anywhere from 3-3.5 hrs to pull it. You could change it but you are better off to take the box off the truck it's alot easier. Good luck.
