2001 Chevy S-10 heater core

I need to replace my heater core and do not know where to start. I always do all of my own work if possible, this one has me baffled.

Its a lot of the work and its about 8 of shop hr labor
dash board need to come out
I suggest to get the manual its a lot of information that you need on hand
is it leaking that your reason to replace it or what
