I had a diagnostics check on my truck due to my check engine light and found that I have a misfire in cylinder 3 and problems with my fuel injector circuit. I am short on cash and would like to eliminate all minor causes before I have to spend a lot of money. Could you please provide me a list of things to check to fix these problems? Thank you in advance.

Do an injector ohms test, compare all readings. You could move the number three injector to another cylinder, see if the code follows the injector.

Just about anything can cause a misfire, fuel--spark--vacuum leak, a lot of causes.
