My truck has the code for random misfire. I've tried to solve it with wires, coil pack, rotor and button, spark plugs and nothing helps. If their is moisture in the air or raining, it makes it worse.

My truck went dead on the road and the mechanics changed the coil pack, rotor and button. That fixed it for about a month.

Check the fuel pressure and the injectors for flow. Could be a bad pressure regulator, fuel filter plugged, fuel pump, vacuum leak. All the above can cause random misfire. Wife 02 shows one when under heavy load uphill with the AC on. (It's a vac. Leak behind the dash but since it isn't constant I'll repair it when I get a chance)
