Recently after a snow storm, my truck stoppped working, Every time I try to start it, It will turn over bout when it slows to idle it stalls, If I gas it it will continue to run very rough but when you let off the gas it stalls. I have looked over the entire engine and wiring and found noting out of place or frayed, all my pressures seem to be fine also, I have not ran a diagnostic to get codes (the check gauge light does come on). I'm looking for an answer before I have to purchase a diagnostic. Do you have any knowledge of this problem?

I had the same problem and my light came on and it was the egr valve. It was like this, at idle it would die so at a light or stop sign I had to put it in neutral to keep the rpms high. Then drive and go. At higher speeds it ran fine.

But I would check the code because if its a linear egr valve, they're a little high, and that would be a waste.
