I have been unable to identify the location of the oil filter on my 92 Chey Blazer with the 4.3 liter engine. The vehicle has 225,000 km on it. Please help.

It should be located on the aft left corner of the engine. Just look up between the oil pan and the side wall just forward of the transmission flange.
If you lay on your back and look up, you will see it. It is high enough to not be damaged by road debris.

Just new to this forum so not sure how to respond to say thank you. Actually, on this particular model it turns out that it is not actually on the engine. Two oil lines run from the engine to the filter which is mounted just by the rad at the left front fender. Two lines go in and two go on to the radiator. Quite a bit different from what I was expecting. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

That is very good information to have. I looked up and down the manual and could not find that.
