how to get belt back on when changing alternator

You should have a belt tensioner that keeps the belt tight. It takes a wrench, either a 15mm or 18mm you move the belt tensioner to oppistite position it will only move one way and after installing the belt let the tensioner ride on the belt by moving it back to the belt. It should tighten the belt
