I changed the oil to my K5 blazer and now the oil filter keeps popping of its gasket. I changed the oil pump thinking it would be the regualtor but it still does it. What else can I do?

Check where your filter mounts and see if you have a gasket stuck up there. It sounds like you do. Or there is a blockage. Alot of times it's another gasket under the filter.

Nope I always check that before installing a new one, but to make sure I did pull it off to check and the old filter has the whole gasket still in tact.

You might want to try changing your adapter to see if that helps and make sure you lube the new filter gasket before installing. Try using an AC or purolator filter brand. If this is a cannister type filter which I don't think it is it's usually the gasket that makes this do that. It usually takes more thatn 80p.S.I. To make a gasket do this and put a manual oil pressure guage on the engine to see what itis.
