These are the set under size repair bearings, as the journals wear they will be machined down to the next repair size, this is in.010" increments, there are usually 4 under size bearings available, to allow for machining of badly damaged journals, this under size brings the bearing oil clearance back to the standard size, which helps increase oil pressure.
