Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1961 Other Chevrolet Models V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am building a hotrod 1933 Chevrolet Master and I need a rear differential the front end is a ford and I want to put a ford differintial in it. The engine is a 1984 Chev 350 and the trans is a Chev 350 turbo same year What would be a good differential gear ratio to put in it.
Thanks John

Unless you are making this a monster horsepower motor, llike over 500 horse and you want to put a ford diff in it you can use a 8" diff as they are readily available from many mustangs and fords. Just measure your spring mounts and width so you can line up with maybe a stock type axle. A 7&1/2" gm would work fine as well as they were in novas, s-10's, camaro's.
