I went to the gas station, filled up. Went to turn the key, everything was on fine, heater, lights, stereo. Went to turn it over, heard a click, everything turned off. Turned it again, still nothing, just black. Disconnected the battery, reconnected, nothing. Disconnected for 10 minutes, Fired. Any ideas? It works now, but I'm afraid it will happen again.

Hi:
My first guess is that one of the battery terminals was not tight. If everything went off, then there was no power to the car. Make sure the terminals are clean and tight. Take a piece of light sand paper and shine up the lead on the terminals and cables to insure good contact.

Let me know if this works.

Joe
