I have a 86 montecarlo that ha d a v-6 engine in it and I replaced it with a 5.7 v-8 and after doing so my heater core went out shortly after and I replaced the core and it is leaking again could this be from to much pressure going through the core if so how could I fix this problem

Yes it could be. Go to parts store and buy a heater fitting, they are smaller diameter hole than just a regular pipe fitting, slows down the water. Or you can put the appropriate size nut in the heater hose to slow it down, but I would go with the fitting
