2008 Chevy Malibu Temperature guage

Just got this GM Certified used 2008 last night. Wife noticed today that Engine Temp guage sits above the 1/2 mark, between 3/4 and 1/2. Never saw a car that the temp read that high with normal driving with the A/C on. Only noticed it today. Where should that temp guage needle be sitting?

I think you sitting good. There is alot of load on that engine when the AC is on. Was it very hot outside also? I wouldnt worry, some new GM do run alittle warmer than the old ones.
