After the battery is disconnected, remove the trim around the radio by pulling the panel off which is held on by small snap in tabs. Next remove the radio by removing the three 7mm head screws. Pull the radio toward you and set aside. No need to disconnet wires. You can now see the side of the ignition. At this point, put the key in the ignition. Now looking at the side of the ignition you will see a rectangle metal tab recessed in the cylinder. Turn the key slowly toward the on position. At the same time apply little pressure on that metal rectangle spot. It will push in some where between acc and start. When it pushes in, with the key where it is, pull outward this will allow you to slide the ignition out while the key remains in the ignition. Remember there is a chip in the ignition. When the new one is installed the car won't start. If it does it will stall out. Leave the key on and wait till the theft light which will be blinking goes off. This is programming the car to regonize the new ignition. This will take about ten minutes for it to stop blinking. Once off retry starting the car, you might have to do this up to three times before it regonizes the new chip.

Hope this helps.
